Where can I ship a package dvds, if not to my house?

Bill Evans asked:

I am about to purchase a large bulk of DVDs, about 500 or so, from an online distributor. I live in an apartment and I am not always home. I don’t have an office or business I can send to, nor do I know any friends or neighbors that live in the area (i just moved here and the building is pretty much empty). Its a very expensive package, will probably be large, and I don’t want to risk losing it to theft. I already found out I can’t ship it to a PO box from a parcel service (like fed-ex to post office box). I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can securely get this package delivered to a location where I can pick it up. It will probably need to be signed for too since it will be insured. Bah! Any ideas, any help, will be amazing! thanks :)

I am receiving the following email at least twice a day from Yahoo. It is because I get email through my Palm Treo. I have no idea how to set it up so that I no longer get this warning. This has been happening for at least 6 months.

kittylitter777 asked:

I’d like to know the process of customizing my own shoes with rhinestones, diamantes, crystals, etc myself. I don’t want to send them off anywhere as I’d like to be able to do them myself. Either a whole shoe or just the heel or just the strap. Can someone let me know what specific materials (glue, varnish, type of crystal, etc) I need and the actual process of applying them to the shoe securely? Thanks in advance!

Jon P: Is Alive asked:

OK, first and foremost, to do this you’ll need Winrar. If you don’t have that, don’t worry. Just put the songs in a “Compressed Zip File”

Now for the hard part:

OK, make sure you have you fifteen songs in a folder where it’ll be easy to locate. Now, right click the files and highlight “Send To” and select “Compressed Folder”

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/zip11.jpg

You should get a message like this. Click Yes:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/zip2.jpg

A new (zip) folder should have appeared. You can rename it to anything you want:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/zip3.jpg

Now, all you have to do is drag the rest of the files into the folder:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/zip4.jpg

OK, now you’ve got the zip file thing mastered, you have to go to www.yousendit.com to upload your file. You have to sign up for…you signed up for Yahoo, so I shouldn’t have to explain that process.

After you’re done signing up, click “send”. You should get a screen like this. Fill out info accordingly (send to my e-mail). Click the “browse” button:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/ysi1.jpg

Locate the source of your .zip drive, and double click. Click send afterwards:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/ysi2.jpg

After a few seconds, you should get a screen like this to know you’ve done this correctly:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/ysi3.jpg

And that’s it. Just leave the rest to me…

To download file:

When I e-mail you the link, the page should look something like this:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/ysi4.jpg

Click “Download Now Securely” and wait for your download manager to pop up. You should know what to do from there:

http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j173/ajeaz6/ysi5.jpg

Mak: It’s instructions for people that don’t understand…how do instructions confuse you???
Oh…naw you good…just send the file to me, and I’ll take care of it from there

You want to send a valuable object to a friend securely. You have a box which can be fitted with multiple locks, and you have several locks and their corresponding keys.
