Hi! Right now I’ve got a pacific.net ID that I use to send and receive emails thru my Outlook Express. I wanna secure my Outlook, so that no one else but I will be able to access my Outlook. I’m a computer neanderthal. Can someone tell me how I can set up a password system or something to secure my Outlook?
A postal worker opened my super-secured package my parents sent me and stole the 50 dollars and the book that was in the package, all I got was an empty envelope….
How can I make sure this won’t happen to my medication that my parents mail to em through the mail? I don’t trust the USPS since they hire ex-convicts to work in the facilities.
Then why are they hiring people who are stealing people’s mail?
Is there a secure way to send video files so that the video can’t be downloaded?
Also, I’d like it to be watched for one play only. Are there any services that give you the option to close down the file after it has been viewed?
I don’t want a password protected Vimeo – need something that is for limited play and can’t be passed around.
I only have internet access from my workplace on my personal laptop. Can all of my activity be traced through the cable connection? If so, even when I ‘delete history’? Am I an idiot for having ***** of myself in a private email account and trying to think of a secure way to send one to my husband on the other side of the world?
We should have been switched to a different service provider by now (with long distance) but I am still stuck with the old service. Meaning I can’t send some very important documents from my home line.
If there are any such services out there how would I go about getting the documents into a digital format such as a DOC or PDF file?
I feel that the “war on terrorism” has actually made us less secure. As alternatives, what about figuring out why so many **** us around the world and actually addressing whatever legitimate concerns there may be? What about withdrawing completely any support for an Israel unwilling to make peace with her neighbors? What about a conservation and alternative source energy policy that makes the U.S. much less interested in and dependent on foreign oil? What about banning all sales of weapons and defense technology by U.S. based and protected corporations except to the U.S. military? What about ending U.S. hegemony as our principal foreign policy – after all, we essentially created Saddam Hussein didn’t we? What about ending massive agriculture subsidies so that others around the world can make a living farming and develop their agricultural economies? You get the idea. We seem more willing to send our sons and daughters to war than to actually do anything positive.
Personally, I’d send 5,000 Wookies down to the border equipped with Bronzium light armor and beam crossbows.
Then, I’d leave 250 Jawas and 250 Mandalorians all equipped with Sonic blasters in Reserve just in case.
If this was done, the border would no doubt be secured.
What are some ways that I can be sure that my money will be secure when sending it? I’ve sent money before, but this is a lot, especially in this economy. What are some tips or tricks to keep my money secure and get to it’s location?
I just had someone hack my yahoo account sending disturbing email to all on my email contacts.
Help me please make it more secure.
