We live in an age where if you can think it then it’s probably possible. I thought text messaging was fairly secure until recently. I will spare you the detail but let’s just say I do have the proof. What I need to know is how it’s being done technically and is there a way to detect if your phone has been compromised. My other question is I know our government agencies can do this quite easily using technology that doesn’t require them to tap into your phone but is this technology available to everyday folks?

I think land lines are safer to use since information can’t be intercepted like cell phones can. I use my cell phone for banking,business and to buy things online like everyone else so I was wondering if not being able to trace a name to the phone number was any advantage.

A retailer needs to check for credit approval and social security and other such things. Is there any website that can handle this type of information securely? Before a retailer can send any free phone, a retailer needs to check for approval first if buyer is eligible.
