I just built a new pc but it’s not sending out video. here are my specs real quick:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Ghz 12M 1333FSB
Sparkle GeForce GTS 250 1GB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI
EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Socket 775 Motherboard
Patriot i5 Viper II 4GB PC16000 DDR3
650 watt power supply
A salvaged 40gb hdd hard drive, that I was using in my last system. The power supply is too.
Ok, so that’s all that I have hooked up right now, and I only have one memory stick in right now though. So everything in my case is working right now, I have the video card in the primary pcie2 slot and the fan is going, both of the power cables to the card are not hooked up to anything else. I have checked many times that it is in securely. my power button and lights and reset button are connected and working. I have an extra case fan (12v), a fan attached to the heatsink on the board and a surprisingly good cpu fan. that is everything that is hooked up. I am using the vga port and have it hooked up to my monitor and then my friends (which I unplugged from his computer when it was working) and I used a different vga cable each time. I don’t know what’s wrong.
