every email sent asks for a secure code before sending
None of the scenarios are the case…I’ve had this email address for years…I use the same email option on my home computer(Mac) that I do on my laptop(PC)….this ONLY happens on my PC….this doesn’t happen on other PC’s just my laptop…I also don’t send a lot of emails from this account to qualify as “spam” 1 -3 a day
I changed my settings within 24 hours after the new security settings were announced (most changes on the Advanced tab in Outlook Express), probably two years ago, yet regularly, like clockwork, I get an email message from Yahoo Mail that is pasted below.
I rechecked my settings with the instructions and there is nothing else I can update – it is all correct. The messages keep on coming.
I contacted customer service several times, probably 4-5 times or more, and they rechecked my settings for me. There was nothing else I could change – it was all correct. Yet the messages keep on coming.
I filed the “abuse email” form, and finally one customer service rep told me to just ignore the messages because clearly there is nothing else to update and she had no idea why I would receive them. And they still keep on coming, every few weeks.
I wonder if this is a message that Yahoo sends out to everyone, like a broadcast message, because my settings were updated even before I started getting these messages. Is there anyone else annoyed like me by these pesky repetitive messages? Please let me know.

I send/receive yahoo email using blackberry 8330 (curve) with the blackberry internet service. The emails are sent like text, so not using an email client that has ssl. Have contacted yahoo will see what they say but I would like any answers from people who might have gone through same situation and solved it. Just do not want yahoo email to be suspended/stopped due to this.
Yahoo sent the message below

I have used the provided link AND the manual directions to resolve the issue MANY times, and it appears to be correct. However, I keep getting this message. I Outlook Express to send and receive e-mail, but use Outlook for its calendar, contacts and task list.
I keep getting the following message almost everyday from Yahoo:

OK, I follow their very complex directions to a T and my e-mail program cannot connect. I like it the way it is. Why can’t Yahoo leave me alone and let me do what works with my computer? Can I block Yahoo?
AT&T and Yahoo are the same company.
ok so i keep getting this email…
