how can i safely buy something on ebay without a credit card?

i’m 17.
i need to buy something off ebay, but i dont think my dad would understand if i asked him. it’s just one of those things.
it wont be more than $6, but it has to be done discreetly. the situation is too complex to explain, but the bottom line is, i need to buy something off ebay without a credit card SECURELY. how can i do it?
please, i really need your help. it means a lot to me.

    You can link your paypal account to a checking account. I would never send anyone cash in the mail. If you want to pay by mail you should pay by money order, this way you have proof that you paid.
    Be careful. There are a lot of sellers on Ebay who aren’t very honest. I have run into quite a few of them.

    How about using Bankdraft and Prepayment Wire Transfer?
