Israel in the Quran

2:47 Children of Israel! call to mind the favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations. 2:122 O Children of Israel! call to mind the favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations.

7:137 And We made the children of Israel, who were considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, – lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine
buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride). 17:104 And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, “Dwell securely in the land of promise”:
10:93 We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them.

20:80 O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you to give you the right side (the blessed side) of Mount Sinai, and We sent down to you Manna (special food) and quails.

26:59 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things (the promised land)

45:16 We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophet hood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favored them above all other nations.

44: 32 And We have chosen them (the Children of Israel) above the ‘Alamîn (mankind, and jinns) and our choice was based on a deep knowledge.

32.23] And certainly We gave the Book to Moses, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel.
[32.24] And We made of them Guiding Lights and leaders to guide by Our command as they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications.

[17:104] And we said to the Children of Israel afterwards, ” scatter and live all over the world…and when the end of the world is near we will gather you again into the Promised Land”.

I posted this exact same thing about a week ago, also with quotes, but most people that answered and were not jews were too stubborn to accept the facts.

Just because Jews lived in Israel 2,000 years ago doesn’t give them the right to take it.

That would be like saying Turkey should own central asia because the Turkish people originated there.

God took the land away from the Jews as they did not obey Him. Further more man (Britain) gave the land back after the 2nd ww. What God takes away only God can give back.

the Quran supports the jewish state as well Islam.. the true Islam is awared that the Holy city for muslims is the mecca.. and palestine or the holy land is for jewish people.

It’s nothing to do with Islam, it’s the Palestinian nationality. There are even christian Palestinians who figh against Israel.

They’ve been retaliating against Israel ever since 1949, all the religious fairy tales that are in the bible, torah, and the koran are only an excuse for fools like the two nations of Israel and Palestine.

Quite frankly this argument is irrelevant in a modern context. The Jewish peoples left Israel and it was taken over by others. This happens all the time.

The forerunner to the UN gave Israel to the Jews as they recognized the historical and cultural significance it had to them, as well as the fact that Palestine was at that time not a nation, but ‘owned’ by the British and other states.

If anyone is to blame for the conflict between Israeli and Palestinian it is those Western nations that did not recognize the Palestinian tribes living there; and instead planted a group of people (who hadn’t lived in that area for more than a thousand years) smack bang in a hostile zone.

Just because religious books indicate that a race lived somewhere once upon a time, does not mean that they have the right to live there now. What we should be focusing on is that they DO live there now, and how they could go about making peace with their neighbours.

I believe this issue always pops up because the Jews are the only people on record who as original inhabitants abandoned a place and then returned to it so many years later. However, just because I was born in a house does not mean I have any right to return to it and kick the other inhabitants out. Israel must find the balance between ensuring their own security and understanding that the land they live in they received by gift. It is not theirs by right, despite the atrocities their ancestors went through.

P.S-the nations surrounding Israel may practise the Quran, but that doesn’t mean they like the modern Jewish people. Just like most Jews don’t run away screaming when offered the hand of an Egyptian and Romans no longer attack Christians…things change. As do people and religions. Plus…the Quran is as patronizing to the Jews as the Torah is towards the Gentiles…I’d say the pseudo supportive sentiment was as appreciated then as it is now.

Yes the land was given to the jews but they got to greedy, therefore god took it away. Imagine living in a house for ten years, then someone knocks on your door saying my great great grandparents owned this house which make it mine. Are you going to leave your house and give it up or stay and fight for your land or house in this case.

Lands have changed hands many times over the years, The United States the Great backer of the State of Israel,.

Tell them that argument, in the need to give the United States back to it Original Inhabitants,” The Native Americans”. and then let me know when they are moving back to Europe!

How could any God Fearing people tolerate the Crimes committed in the name of the Good Book you have just cited!

the eygptians r the first . if u wanna be techinal.

n because jews have lived there doesnt mean they own it

    64. The Jews say: “(god)’s hand is tied up.” Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth.

    63. Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works

    60. Say: “Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah. those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path

THIS IS WHERE JEWS HAVE SETTLED & WERE GIVEN THIS LITTLE PLACE TO LIVE. WHEN “PALESTINE WAS DIVIDED BETWEEN ISRAEL & JORDAN IT WAS JORDAN THAT REFUSED TO GIVE THE PALESTINIANS A HOMELAND IN THEIR COUNTRY.

  12. ka3udr - June 24th, 2010 at 10:02 pm

These people that call themselves palestinians are not even liked by their muslim brothers. They are just being used like useful idiots. It is about time that Israel stood up against these on going attacks.

What’s even STRANGER is that some Italians placed mosques and minarets in their Nativity scenes, which shows the effect Islam is having on Catholics in Italy! I guess they thought that Islam was already an established religion in the time of Jesus! The Jews were in Israel even before Jesus!
