dondon asked:
I am part of a 2-man business. We work 100 miles apart, normally talking on IM and sending email. We want to use Outlook or similar for our contact management. We will often need to individually update the same customer contact files and we both will need access to those files all day. Outlook tells me that I can share files but with no security or encryption. How do I get secure sharing?
I don’t mind using another program instead of Outlook, if it will do the job.

Hmm Why not setup a VPN (virtual private network) between you and your business partner. In that way you can share a lot of information with each other without having to worry about security.
A free solution is available at
but there are ofcourse a lot of commercial solutions.
You could avoid the complexities of setting up a vpn etc by using Gmail as your email “host” (they have the ability to accept forwarding and mask as your existing email address) for either your existing email or agreed shared email which would give you collaborative contacts and info easily together with google calendar and google writely which can all work collaboratively.
hi, perhaps you can try norton to remove the virus and protect your PC, but you need to pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:
