If you mean to simply use the internet to transport between you sites, you s program like secure If you want to deliver content to customers via the internet rather than CD’s, could use a SSL session.
If you want to create a file, then encrypt it and then let someone download it from your web site then decrypt it, you will need applications on both your system and theirs. If this is between sites, I have created simple PERL applications that encrypt a file using strong encryption which can then be copied across the internet and decoded using the same tool. All you need is the correct “pass phrase”.
